With the Datacard SD460 card printer Datacard group presents a highly productive and simultaneously cost efficient card printer. The printer is convenient for one-sided and two-sided card printing and specifically optimized for high sized production quantities.
Due to sophisticated technology, useful options, and an attractive pricing, the Datacard SD460 card printer is ideally used for the decentralize issuing of ID and customer cards. The printer offers an easy access to color-coded laminating cartridges with easy-to-load supplies.
The card feeder for 100 cards at a thickness of 0.76 mm can be extended up to 200 cards. Printing over your network is available by the integrated Ethernet port.
A tactile impression personalization feature enhances security by creating an impression on the card you can see and feel, making alteration attempts clearly visible. Choose from a set of standard designs or create a custom one specific to your organization, elevating security and your brand. Datacard® DuraShield™ clear and holographic overlays take security and durability to new levels by providing full edge-to-edge coverage that’s virtually impossible to remove intact and provides four times the durability of basic topcoats.

Tactile Impression
Use the tactile impression feature to impress an easily verified design onto the card laminate and substrate to help make alteration attempts immediately evident. Take security and durability to new levels with near, or full edge-to-edge lamination. Choose from a variety of options including the budget-friendly Datacard® DuraShield™ clear overlay that’s virtually impossible to remove intact. It’s four times the strength of basic topcoats at nearly the same price. Plus, get the ability to apply serialized laminates, which lets you bind each card you print to a specific identity in your database to help deter counterfeiting.
